AN ALL-SPORTS CAMP FOR AGES 7 THRU 14

Julian Krinsky Super Sports Camp offers boys and girls between the ages of 7 and 14 professional instruction in their choice of up to three sports. Instruction is geared to the developmental level of each camper’s age group and skill level. Whether your child wants to try a sport for the first time or seriously improve his or her level of play, our staff of professional instructors can help achieve those goals. At the same time, your child will be building self-confidence and maturity — positive qualities that will help him or her in all areas of life.

Choose your favorite sports.
Super Sports Camp provides age- and skill-specific training in 16 popular sports. Whether a camper is picking up a tennis racquet for the first time, trying to improve his or her outside jump shot, or wants to make the school softball team, we’ll provide exactly the instruction they need.

Campers choose up to three sports per weekly session, or may concentrate on just one or two. They may switch sports at the end of the first week, if staying for additional sessions.

Here’s the Julian Krinsky Super Sports lineup for 2005:
BASEBALL/SOFTBALL —Pitching, hitting, catching, fielding, base running and team play.
BASKETBALL — Dribbling, shooting, ball handling, passing and rebounding; also offensive and defensive formations and plays.

VOLLEYBALL — Serving, receiving serve, passing, setting and spiking; also blocks and defensive plays, as well as formations, rotations and teamwork.
ROPES CHALLENGE COURSE — Campers work together to scale our 20' High Wall, climb on a Fidget Ladder, cross a Tire Traverse, and negotiate the Spider’s Web and the Acid River.
SOCCER — Dribbling, passing, collecting the ball and shooting. Campers play in small-sided teams for maximum participation, as well as World Cup-format competition.
FIELD HOCKEY — Individual and team instruction in offensive and defensive techniques and tactical strategies; also specialized goalkeeping instruction.
LACROSSE — Separate boys’ and girls’ programs. Stick-handling, passing, going to the goal, scoring, and overall strategy.
SWIMMING — A learn-to-swim program for beginners ages 5 to 8, and recreational swimming for all ages.
INLINE SKATING — Instruction stresses confidence and safety while concentrating on basic skills of striding, stopping and turning.
ROLLER/STREET HOCKEY — Skating, stick handling, passing and shooting; also strategies for offense, defense and scoring.
SKATEBOARDING — For beginning to experienced skateboarders, our program teaches everything from basic skating, balance and steering to ollies, drop-ins and rail slides. A low instructor-to-skater ratio provides the individualized attention students need to safely develop solid skills and cool stunts.
