In Philadelphia, you can see the nation’s first library, art museum, zoo, hospital and many more firsts. You can also explore thousands of feet of public art in the “Mural Capital” of the United States. “Philly” (as it’s known to natives) is the 5th largest city in the United States, and it is packed with history, culture, sports and the arts. In this course you can see the Liberty Bell, Independence Hall, City Hall, the Reading Terminal Market, Valley Forge, the U.S. Mint, LOVE Park, The Philadelphia Museum of Art and some of Philadelphia’s other famous tourist attractions. Traveling each day to a different destination, you can learn about and experience Philadelphia fully in this adventurous, field trip-based course.
