Experimental Physics

at Residential Enrichment

It’s time to get out of the classroom and get “physical” this summer by reproducing some of the world’s most famous physics experiments.

Everything from light bulbs to nuclear weapons is governed by physics and this course will give students a hands-on opportunity to understand how these things work.

Scales, insulation, flashlights or microwaves, we’ll dissect them all piece by piece to understand the science behind them. Using these experiments to deepen your understanding of the physics that govern everyday life will also strengthen your grasp of physics’ fundamental theories. Whether it is through motion, heat, sound, electricity magnetism or light, we interact with these six areas of physics every day, so we’re better off knowing how they work. We believe the best way to do this is to get “down and dirty” with the physics and experience the science first hand, the way Newton intended it.
