Esports Summer Camp2018-11-05T13:24:55+00:00

Project Description

Created by N3rd Street Gamers and Julian Krinsky Camps & Programs, this camp offers a unique opportunity to take your game to the next level. The goal of the summer camp is to help mold young players into the best player you can be while helping you achieve your potential. With nearly $9 million dollars worth of scholarships being awarded from over 80 universities in the United States and close to $1 billion of prize money handed out in 2018, there is no denying that esports is a booming industry.

With that in mind, we created a two-week immersive esports summer program designed to give participants a complete overview of the esports ecosystem. Students will have the opportunity to experience a range of games like DOTA 2, Overwatch, Starcraft, Rocket League, FIFA and many more. During each session, students and instructors will choose their favorite game and train for an end of session tournament that culminates in a professional-grade, live-streamed championship match.

The esports summer program will take place both on campus and at N3rd Street Gamers in downtown Philadelphia. Students will be transported to N3rd Street Gamers in a JKCP shuttle with a professional driver to and from campus each day.

N3rd Street Gamers (NSG) is the home of our esports camp. NSG is an esports network focused on serving semi-professional, amateur and developing gamers. NSG provides venue space, hardware, tournament administration and broadcast services to gamer communities. They recently launched NSG Eastern Conference, the first step in laying a national framework for esports talent development.

Students will be transported from campus daily via JKCP transport to and from N3rd Street Gamers in Philadelphia.

College Life. From meeting your new roommate, walking around the beautiful campus and eating in the dining halls, you’ll get a taste of what life as a college student is really like. You’ll love the modern facilities, air-conditioned dorms, snack shops, WiFi and state-of-the-art athletic spaces.

International Experience. About 40% of students come from around the world to join us at JKCP each summer. Every year we hear how much students enjoy meeting people from all over the country and the world and how it opened their eyes to different parts of the globe.

Trips & Activities. One of the best parts of JKCP is the activities. Every evening is a planned event. Sometimes we stay on campus, and other nights we’ll travel to a local venue for an off-campus activity. Trips are offered every Saturday to regional destinations of your choice.
